3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the Website
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Involve bulk scraping or automated harvesting of the Website's content or data, or circumvention of any technical or licence restrictions, beyond what the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence and ordinary personal, academic, or research use permit
4. Research Content
The content on this Website is provided for educational and research purposes. While we strive for accuracy:
- The framework represents ongoing research and may be updated
- It should not be used as the sole basis for critical decisions
- We encourage peer review and academic discourse
5. External Links
The Website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

7. Diagnostic Tools and the Clinic
The Website offers experimental diagnostic and interactive tools, including the Clinic and the Wizard. These tools are provided strictly "as is" and "as available", for research and educational purposes only, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. To use a cloud model in the Clinic you must supply your own third-party API key ("bring your own key"). That key, and any messages you send to a cloud model, are transmitted directly from your browser to the relevant provider and are governed by that provider's terms; we do not receive, store, or assume responsibility for them. You are responsible for your own API key and for any costs or usage incurred under it, and you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your misuse of your API key or of these tools. Output from these tools is provided for educational and research purposes only and does not constitute professional, clinical, medical, legal, or safety-engineering advice, certification, or any guarantee of an AI system's safety or fitness. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
11. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. A failure by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Website.
